what helped OU was that they lost early in the year and plenty of time to make up style points by running up the score against other teams for the latter part of the season

yeah they did
since OU lost early they had the rest of the season to impress the computers
it also worked out to their advantage that when they beat both TTU and okie st they were both ranked as highly as they were which carried more computer weight

You can't blame this on the computers, you really can't. Result was the same either way. But, hopefully this is the death of the BCS b/c alot of people are gonna be mad as hell about this one.
